ACES Buffer CAS NO.7365-82-4

Hopax's Aces is specially tested and certified to be free of DNase, RNase and protease activity for molecular biology application.

Hopax is a manufacturer and supplier of Aces (CAS 7365-82-4), a zwitterionic biological buffer often used as a buffering agent in biological and biochemical research.

It has been used to develop buffers for both agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and is especially used in isoelectric focusing (IEF) of proteins and analysis of bacterial autolysins in a discontinuos SDS-PAGE system. 

Some studies have shown that Aces responds well to chiral resolutions when working with chiral microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography in comparison to phosphate buffers. Moreover, Aces is widely used as a separator in the resolution of protein systems.

Additional uses of Aces: an enzyme assay buffer for the study of glucosidases; a buffer solution to wash and heat Lactobacillus plantarumcellsfor; in buffered culture media for hairy roots of Catharanthus roseus; a buffer for x-ray crystallography of aldehyde dehydrogenase enzyme complexes; in the preparation of buffered charcoal yeast extract agar for the isolation of Legionella spp.
