Hopax is a manufacturer and supplier of Mopso (CAS 68399-77-9), a zwitterionic biological buffer often used as a buffering agent in biological and biochemical research.

This Good's Buffer is commonly used as a carrier electrolyte in capillary electrophoresis. Additionally, researchers have been using it as a lysis and enzyme assay buffer. Other applications of Mopso include spectrophotometry, fluorescence spectroscopy and isothermal titration calorimetry.

Since Mopso interacts with the peptide backbone of bovine serum albumin (BSA), it is used on the stabilization of BSA against thermal denaturation.
